The initial brief from the client was to build something that had the "rugged looks of a piece of tough mining equipment.”

Designed to be used in extremely dusty and harsh mining environments this kiosk is secure and IP66 rated. The internal temperatures are maintained by a combination of an internal ventilation system, a positive pressure filtration system and a compact heat exchange unit. It is fitted with an A4 thermal printer, outdoor monitor, and industrial PC. This unit is built from a combination of plastic, stainless steel, and fiberglass.
