This solution was developed as a simple streamlined front-end to allow for a user to refill an aircraft. The solution had to meet a number of important but difficult criteria.

Firstly it needed to communicate with a weights and measure certified Postec unit, because of the very specialized nature of that component it required the development of a number of key low-end software components.

Secondly the software needed to communicate with an ancillary 3rd party device to ensure that the aircraft was bonded (prior to filling). Lastly it needed to be able to communicate via a secure network the exact amount of fuel that was located in each refuel tank.

The end result was a simple to use, secure solution, which in combination with the custom enclosure met all the clients’ objectives.
